Get ready, everyone. Mark your calendar for April 10. German instrumental rock band Long Distance Calling has announced they will be releasing another album The Phantom Void.
To get fans and new listeners pumped for this upcoming album, they released a teaser alongside tracks “A Secret Place” and “The Spiral.” These two tracks give old-time fans and new listeners a sense of what the rest of the album is going to sound like.
The whole album is a story, starting with “A Secret Place,” which they released first, and then “The Spiral,” giving an uneasy, haunting, and dizzy feeling. This is just the feeling I got when listening to the two songs. The sense that I’m in a horror house and I can’t get out. Personally, I think these two songs, and probably the rest of the album, would be good for a scary horror game.
