Baby Keem’s new video “Good Flirts” – a cinematic dose of West Coast love

Baby Keem’s “Good Flirts” was captured in a beautifully orchestrated new music video directed by Renell Medrano and went live on February 23, 2026. The single, featuring Kendrick Lamar and Momo Boyd, is from the artist’s second studio album Ca$ino. Baby Keem is holding back nothing, including his “Good Flirts!”

This video was masterfully assimilated by the brilliant artists, director, and all who are credited in the production, which you may read in the YouTube video’s description. In the video’s movie-like intro, we are shown a glimpse into what an evening on the West Coast with Baby Keem might look like. As the starring artist seems to be lost in thought, his friend is giving him advice about ladies as they go to get in the car, before the song takes over the atmosphere and the visual-to-music synchronization begins.

The contrast shown in various aspects of the video speaks volumes as loudly and powerfully as the song itself. The use of a well-thought-out color palette, followed by shots of black and white, hit viewers hard as Baby Keem’s angelic singing brings life to strong feelings of nostalgia.

It could be interpreted that Baby Keem is reflecting on a current heartbreak situation – “You used to call my phone on a Friday night, It’s been over twice, it’s been over, we’ve been over, yet…” – the hook is finished by repeating those lines again, and I believe this is an incredibly intelligent way to show the heart’s tug of war between accepting the painful difference between what remains and what is, and what used to be.

Visually, we are shown a contradiction in more ways, such as the subject composition bouncing back and forth between utilizing the rule of thirds and the subject of the shot being centered. Another incredible use of contrasting visuals is depicted by seeing the artists with potential love interests, or “Good Flirts,” and again shown by themselves in isolation. There seem to be so many layers of thought put into not just the song, but the visual that pairs so masterfully in unison with Baby Keem. The song is so well composed that it surely deserves the cinematic masterpiece that accompanies it.

If you enjoy music of any sort, I feel this is a song nearly anyone could enjoy, and I really hope anyone reading this takes the time to watch this extremely refreshing visual production! Also, don’t miss your chance to see Baby Keem live, as his tour for Ca$ino is approaching quickly, with the first date coming in April.
