MARIS announces “MARIS Goes To College” Spring tour

On February 25, MARIS announced that she is going to college…kind of. This spring, this rising pop-star is going on tour and heading to campuses and iconic venues for her MARIS Goes To College” tour. Shows will kick off on April 8 in Athens, Georgia, and will end in Bloomington, Indiana, on May 3. Tickets are on sale now at marisofficial.com/tour.

This tour is on the heels of some major press momentum and the release of her hot new single, “Body Is On Fire,” which has already gained almost 500,000 streams across all platforms and had a feature in Flood Magazine. Co-written and produced by earwulf (Marshmello, Ava Max, Charli XCX), “Body Is On Fire” showcases a polished, high-gloss pop sound with a daring pulse. The single landed on the cover of Spotify’s All New Pop and has been added to over 15 editorial playlists across DSPs.

The official music video for the song was directed by indieX Film Fest Award nominee Grace Stromatt and is out now. The video brings the steamy, eccentric nature of the song to life with dancing, touching, and passion. MARIS also recently delivered a Vevo DSCVR performance filmed live at Vevo’s Los Angeles studio, which can be seen HERE. Additionally, she has been featured in Paper Magazine, with the outlet noting that she is “stepping into a new era — bolder, sharper, and still dancing around the edge of impulse.” Her 2025 collaboration with Caroline Kingsbury, “Give Me A Sign,” was also named in Rolling Stone’s “Songs you need to know”. MARIS was the subject of a cover story in the Los Angeles Times Entertainment section, where she was called pop music’s next “Mega Star.”

Born in 1999, MARIS began her exploration of the earth in Missoula, Montana, and started her expedition for a life full of love and adventure. She moved to Los Angeles in 2021 and began her journey to pop stardom. Her mission was to connect and entice listeners through honest storytelling and an ’80s-inflected pop-universe with unforgettable hooks and danceable beats. By June 2023, MARIS released her six-song EP, “Gravity,” and an accompanying short film. From the steamy one-night stands in “Was it a Dream,” to the coming-of-age struggle in outofmydepth,” her songs whisk listeners away on a journey of emotion and discovery. She toured Europe with Postmodern Jukebox in 2022 and has since opened for Maude Latour, Melt, Anna Of The North, A R I Z O N A, and The Wrecks, with festival stops at Boston Calling and Missoula Pride. Following the release of her first collaboration, “Give Me A Sign” last year, MARIS and Caroline Kingsbury embarked on a co-headline tour. Best experienced live, MARIS ensures all in attendance feel free to be their happiest, truest, and most out-of-this-world selves, and as someone who saw her live last year, I can confirm that to be true.
