flipturn releasing “reimagined” version of breakout album ‘Burnout Days’

Indie rock band flipturn had a massive year in 2025, riding the wave of popularity with nonstop touring and a new album, Burnout Days. As the album helped them process the complicated feelings and identity struggles of life as artists, they’re now reflecting and elaborating on their journey with new, “reimagined” versions of each song. These new iterations feature mercury on “Right?,” Eleni Drake on “Swim Between Trees,” and Old Mervs on the title track, among many more of their artist friends. For a band known for their nostalgic and introspective style, this collaborative project is the perfect way to add another layer of feeling and resonance to an album already packed with emotion.

flipturn have made it clear that they’re not letting burnout get the best of them: they are set to play their biggest headlining show to date this May at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado, as well as massive festivals including Bonnaroo and Gov Ball.
