Some bands release music. Others build something people keep coming back to.
For more than two decades, 311 have turned March 11 into something closer to a tradition than a date on the calendar. And in 2026, the band’s 26th annual 311 Day proved that the draw is not slowing down. If anything, it is expanding.
Following a full weekend takeover of Las Vegas, fans were given more than just a pair of live sets. The event leaned into everything that has kept the band’s following intact for decades: deep cuts, unexpected collaborations, and an environment built as much around community as performance.

One of the standout moments came through a collaboration with Blue Man Group, adding a different kind of visual and rhythmic layer to songs like “Do You Right” and “Don’t Stay Home.” It was the kind of crossover that could have felt forced, but instead landed as an extension of the band’s willingness to keep evolving its live experience.
Beyond the stage, the event expanded into something more immersive. The first-ever 311 Museum gave fans a look into the band’s history, while activations and exhibits filled the space in a way that made the weekend feel less like a concert and more like a full environment built around the band’s legacy.
That same sense of looking back while moving forward showed up in the band’s newly announced Vault Series, a limited-run merchandise line pulling designs from their early years. For longtime fans, it is more than nostalgia. It is a recognition of how long the connection has been building.
The most forward-looking announcement came with the reveal of the 2027 311 Day Cruise. Set to sail from March 10 through March 15 from Miami, with stops in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, and Grand Cayman, the cruise continues to push the idea of what a fan experience can look like when it extends beyond a single venue or weekend.
That has always been the difference with 311. The music is part of it, but the community around it is what keeps everything moving. Events like 311 Day are less about promotion and more about maintaining something that has already been built over time.
At a point where many bands rely on nostalgia alone, 311 continues to treat its history as something active. Something that can still grow, shift, and bring people back year after year without losing what made it matter in the first place.
For fans who missed the live experience, the full event is available to stream via Veeps, offering another way to tap into a celebration that has become one of the most consistent traditions in modern alternative music.
