Forty years is a long time for anything to last, especially in a genre that moves as fast as metal does.

German metal mainstays Helloween have announced their 40th anniversary North American tour, set to run through April and May 2026. The run marks a return to the U.S. and Canada following a successful stretch of sold-out arena shows across Europe.

Joining them on the road are Beast In Black, bringing a modern counterweight to a band that helped define melodic speed metal decades ago.

Rather than framing the tour as a retrospective, the band is positioning it as a continuation. The setlist is expected to pull from across their catalog, mixing long-standing material with songs from their most recent album, Giants & Monsters, released in 2025.

That balance matters. Bands with this kind of history can easily lean too heavily on the past. Helloween have spent the last several years avoiding that trap, choosing instead to treat their legacy as something to build from rather than something to rely on.

The upcoming tour reflects that approach. It acknowledges the weight of four decades without turning it into a museum piece. The expectation is a set that moves between eras without drawing hard lines between them.

Stops include major markets across the U.S. and Canada, with a Denver date scheduled for April 23 at the Paramount Theatre. Tickets are available now through the band’s official website.
