Monster Energy SuperMotocross has named Michael Waddell, creator of Bone Collector, as Grand Marshal for Round 10 of the SMX World Championship taking place March 21 at Protective Stadium in Birmingham, Alabama.
Waddell, widely recognized as one of the most influential figures in the hunting and outdoor space, built the Bone Collector brand into a global media presence after first gaining attention through competitive turkey calling. His background in both outdoor sports and motorsports culture makes the selection feel natural for a Supercross event rooted in speed, precision, and tradition.

A longtime fan of the sport, Waddell has spent years around motocross, both recreationally and alongside some of its most recognizable names, including Ricky Carmichael, Ryan Villopoto, Eli Tomac, and Jeff Stanton. His connection to the culture extends beyond spectatorship, maintaining a personal track and continuing to ride with his family.
As Grand Marshal, Waddell will take part in opening ceremonies, appear on the Race Day Live broadcast, deliver the ceremonial command to start engines, and wave the green flag for the 450SMX Class Main Event.
FanFest and qualifying begin at 11:00 a.m., with opening ceremonies scheduled for 5:30 p.m. and racing set to start at 6:00 p.m. CT at Protective Stadium.
The Monster Energy SMX World Championship continues to bridge stadium Supercross and outdoor motocross into a single, unified series, bringing together some of the most competitive racing in the sport.
