Nyjah Huston named MoonPay X Games League Ambassador for 2026 season

MoonPay has named Nyjah Huston as its first-ever athlete ambassador, marking a key step ahead of the inaugural MoonPay X Games League (XGL) Summer Season.

The partnership connects one of the most accomplished street skateboarders of all time with a platform aiming to reshape how action sports are structured and presented. Huston, already a founding athlete within the MoonPay XGL, will now represent the brand across events, media, and digital content throughout the season.

Announced earlier this year, the MoonPay X Games League introduces a team-based format across skateboarding, BMX, snowboarding, and freeskiing. The model is designed to create longer storylines, establish team identities, and provide more consistent financial opportunities for athletes.

Huston’s involvement goes beyond branding. As a founder athlete, he has contributed to shaping the league’s competitive structure and athlete experience, helping define what the next phase of X Games competition could look like.

“In street skating, if you’re not progressing, you’re falling behind,” Huston said. “I see crypto the same way. It’s moving fast, and I’m excited to be part of something building toward the future.”

The 2026 Summer Season begins June 26 in Sacramento, California, featuring four teams: XC Los Angeles, XC New York, XC São Paulo, and XC Tokyo. Events will be broadcast across the ESPN App, The Roku Sports Channel, YouTube, and Kick.

Huston is expected to appear at multiple stops throughout the season, including events in Sacramento, Japan, and New Orleans.
