UnityTX is back with Somewhere, In Between…, a record that feels less like a step forward and more like a breaking point finally put into motion.

Released March 13 via Pure Noise Records, the Dallas-based group continues to push their blend of metal, hardcore, hip-hop, and electronic elements into something that refuses to sit comfortably in any one space. It’s aggressive, restless, and intentional in a way that feels earned rather than manufactured.

Across 14 tracks, the album leans into tension instead of trying to resolve it. Songs like “Heinous” and “Enjoy Tha Show” carry a constant sense of pressure, balancing heavy instrumentation with sharp, confrontational delivery from frontman Jay Webster. The result is a record that doesn’t smooth out its edges; it molds them into something even sharper.

There’s a clear throughline running beneath the chaos. Somewhere, In Between… is rooted in frustration, identity, and the weight of expectation, both from within and from outside the band. Rather than trying to escape that, UnityTX leans into it, turning it into something direct and unfiltered.

That same energy is carrying into their current tour, where the band is out supporting Varials on a full U.S. run. Stops include cities like Chicago, Denver, Anaheim, and Brooklyn.

UnityTX has built its reputation on intensity, and this run feels like an extension of that — more than a tour, a continuation of what the album set out to do in the first place.
