Alex Warren sets the Accor Arena on fire!

Alex Warren stopped by Paris for his highly anticipated show at the Accor ArenaThe Concert Chronicles was there — and here’s everything that went down.

Alex Warren is an artist who made a lasting impression on everyone with his track “Ordinary,” released in February 2025, which quite literally launched his career to new heights.

The show starts strong: the curtain drops, revealing a full band along with a giant screen. The first notes of “Troubled Waters” echo through the venue. Alex walks on stage with a big smile. At the end of the song, he says “Bonjour Paris!” and begins to scan the crowd. He takes in the sheer size of the room and already starts reading fans’ signs.

Alex Warren is someone with a great sense of humor — and clearly, his fans do too. One fan holds up a sign: “Sign this photo, it’s my dead dog.” He laughs, but goes along with it, thanking everyone for being there.

The stage setup is impressive. A long catwalk stretches into the middle of the pit, leading to a circular B-stage at the back of the arena, designed to bring him closer to fans further away.

Alex shares how happy he is to be in France, saying it brings back many memories, especially of his father, who used to come here often. He then introduces an unreleased song called “Passenger,” written about his wife. He explains how surreal it feels, recalling that the last time he played in Paris, it was for just 600 people at the Alhambra. Now, he’s filling massive venues — including a 15,000-capacity arena here in Paris.

He then moves to the B-stage for a more acoustic moment, where a piano awaits. Accompanied by his violinist, he performs “Same Stars,” a song dedicated to his parents, who passed away when he was young. The track is still unreleased and explores the feeling of losing a part of yourself and trying to find it again. He wrote it as a way to express something he felt people didn’t truly understand.

The show is powerful. Alex Warren is an incredible vocalist. There’s a real emotion in his voice, and he effortlessly shifts between delicate ballads and more upbeat songs. He remains very close to his audience, taking time to read signs and thank the crowd. Whether on guitar or piano, he proves himself to be a complete musician. At one point, he jokes that he might “mess up” his piano piece, adding a touch of self-deprecating humor.

The setlist includes songs from his new album You’ll Be Alright, Kid, all delivered with striking honesty and sincerity. He dedicates several songs to his wife and even mentions his favorite song he’s ever written, “Heaven Without You.” Despite his young age, he comes across as a deeply moving artist with a wide artistic range — different styles, all fitting him perfectly. Even his tourist-style “I Love Paris” t-shirt works. We have to admit: we love it.

The set closes beautifully with his latest single, “Fever Dream.” A fan even gets to trigger the final confetti cannon on his cue. Finally, the highly anticipated “Ordinary” followed by a burst of confetti — yes, there was plenty of confetti throughout the show.

Then everything slows down. The confetti continues to fall as childhood photos of Alex and his parents appear on the giant screen. He turns around to watch them, visibly emotional.

What a privilege it was to witness such a moment. We can’t wait to see what comes next — and to finally listen to those unreleased songs on repeat.
