Columbus Against The World is more than a festival—it’s a celebration of live music and the importance of showing up to support your friends. This year, they celebrated their third show with guests Adam Paddock, Koda, and Kikko Mai.
Kikko Mai has been playing shows in Columbus since she was 15. The opener started the show with an energetic and feminine energy that left a nasty ear worm for the rest of the week. I’ve had “Tell My Boyfriend on repeat ever since.”
Koda delivered a rustic, Southern vibe with their bandanas and cowboy hats. They riled up the crowd with intense vocals and a fun performance that made me want to dance until my feet fell off. I’d love to see them make an appearance again next year.
And last but not least, Adam Paddock sealed the night with bold, bright vocals, intermingled with acoustic sets and appreciation for your friends. He never hesitated to thank everyone for coming out and supporting the live music scene and gave a show to remember.
Columbus Against the World is a wonderful celebration of friendship and live music, and I’m already counting down the days until the festival makes their appearance next year.
