Joanna “JoJo” Levesque’s continues her European leg of the tour for the “Too Much To Say Tour” following the release of her “NGL” EP that released at the beginning of the year. Taking on the O2 Institute in Birmingham, England. Tyler Lewis opened the show and really set the tone for the evening with her vocal performance and stage presence that captivated the audience.
JoJo’s setlist was masterfully curated into chapters that took the audience members on a journey throughout the night, from JoJo’s iconic 2000s singles right up to her latest releases – truly connecting with those in attendance. The atmosphere was electric the entire night, fans were completely in awe to be soaking up the music from the “Too Little Too Late” singer. Every single song was met with singalongs as fans danced the night away to the much-loved artist, who in turn, shared her gratitude for this special audience and fondly reminisced on past performances at the venue.
The energy from JoJo was consistent throughout and her vocal performance was nothing short of spectacular; she truly knows how to put on a show. This is a testament to her experience in the music industry, she knows exactly how to engage an audience and put on a show-stopping performance.
The fan favourites from the night seemed to be “Marvin’s Room” (a remixed version), the iconic “Leave (Get Out)” and not forgetting “Too Little Too Late” – the venue truly filled with nostalgia. These particular songs had the whole venue singing and dancing along. This tour is packed with energy, heart and soul and is a safe space for fans of any demographic; the concertgoers range from the new generation discovering the music of JoJo and the longtime fans who grew up listening to JoJo back in the early 2000s.
If JoJo is touring near you, this tour is definitely not one to be missed and I can confidently say that you too will walk away just like the rest of us, in complete awe.
