GRAMMY-winning artist/producer duo The Chainsmokers have released a new single, “Helium,” in collaboration with rising Toronto singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Anna Sofia. The song features Anna’s breathy, crystalline vocals layered over a buoyant blend of synths and rhythmic beats. This combination creates a sense of weightless euphoria maintained throughout the track.
Sinking into a cinematic soundscape of melodies and crisp percussion, the track is further brought to life by an official music video that explores themes of American culture, idealism, and fantasy.
Leading up to the release, the duo teased fans with the single for weeks, performing it live alongside Anna at major events such as Osheaga Festival (Montreal) and an Under The K Bridge show (Brooklyn).
