A Day To Remember officially kicked off their U.S. tour with an energetic and well-received first stop at Blossom Music Center. The venue was filled with fans, and the lineup brought strong performances from start to finish. Even though it was the first night of the tour, every band on the bill came out ready, delivering solid sets that kept the energy high and the crowd engaged throughout the night.
The evening opened with Boundaries, a heavy band from Hartford, Connecticut. As soon as they stepped on stage and started playing “A Pale Light Lingers,” the tone was set. It didn’t take long for the crowd to realize that the night was going to be loud, intense, and worth remembering. Their setlist included seven songs total, featuring standouts like “Is Survived By” and “Turning Rage Into Hate.” Their sound was aggressive and tight, and they kept the momentum going throughout their set. They closed with “Easily Erased,” leaving the audience warmed up and fully in the zone for the rest of the show.
Following Boundaries was State Champs, who got a huge reaction as soon as the lights went down. They opened with “Silver Cloud,” and right away, the audience was singing along. The band’s set kept a steady pace, blending energy with catchy hooks. Midway through their performance, they debuted a brand-new song, “Common Sense,” which had only been released the day before. Right after that, they played “I Still Want To,” another fresh track making its live debut. There were some minor mic issues during that song, but the band handled it well and kept going without hesitation. They finished their set with a few more upbeat songs, closing out with fan-favorite “Secrets.” It was a strong performance that showed why State Champs continue to be a favorite in the pop-punk scene.
Next up was Yellowcard, co-headlining the tour and clearly a major draw for many in the crowd. They made a fun entrance, walking on stage to the “Top Gun” anthem before jumping into their first song, “Only One.” The band played a total of 14 songs, with early highlights like “Lights and Sounds” and “Breathing.” Their set covered a wide range of their discography, and the crowd stayed fully engaged throughout. Songs like “Way Away,” “Bedroom Posters,” and “Awakening” kept things moving, and their sound was sharp and well-rehearsed. They ended their set on a strong note with “Back Home” followed by “Ocean Avenue,” the song that had nearly the entire venue singing along. Yellowcard’s mix of nostalgia and energy made their portion of the night one of the most memorable.
Finally, it was time for A Day To Remember to take the stage. As expected, they started things off with a bang, opening with “The Downfall of Us All.” The crowd exploded as soon as the first notes hit, and the energy didn’t drop once. They moved quickly into “I’m Made of Wax, Larry, What Are You Made Of?” and continued through a well-rounded setlist that included newer material like “Bad Blood,” “Flowers,” and “LeBron,” as well as older favorites such as “Paranoia”and “NJ Legion Iced Tea.” The band didn’t pause much between songs, keeping the pace steady and the crowd locked in.
Instead of leaving the stage and returning for an encore, ADTR chose to keep the flow going by heading straight into the final songs of the night. They slowed things down briefly for “If It Means a Lot to You,” giving the crowd a chance to sing along and connect emotionally with the band and each other. It was a standout moment that brought a different kind of energy to the show. To wrap things up, they closed with “All Signs Point to Lauderdale,” ending the night on a loud and satisfying note.
From start to finish, the first stop of the tour was a success. Each band brought something unique to the stage, and the crowd responded with nonstop energy. If this show was any indication of what’s to come on the rest of the tour, fans across the country are in for a great experience.
