New England pop-punk veterans Four Year Strong are back with a brand-new single, “Whiplash,” and it’s exactly what you want from them: loud, fast, and impossible not to move to. They’ve dialed-up the heaviness while keeping the infectious pop-punk energy fans can’t get enough of.
Four Year Strong recently kicked off their run with All Time Low this month, starting in Toronto on November 5. The tour spans fifteen dates, including New York, Massachusetts, and Florida. Outside of the tour, the band will also make an appearance at Warped Tour Orlando. After wrapping up in late November, they’ll take a short break before heading to the U.K. and Europe in early 2026 for nineteen shows, including a stop at London’s iconic O2 Arena.

About Four Year Strong:
A year after Four Year Strong’s sixth album release, Analysis Paralysis, Dan O’Connor, Alan Day, Jake Massucco, and Joe Weiss are still pushing the envelope of their Northeastern hardcore and pop-punk sound with the release of “Whiplash.” The band drew on everything that’s made them who they are, while exploring new textures for this next album.
“Whiplash” brings the staple Four Year Strong sound that is punchy and demands you to move. They’ve also incorporated ’90s grunge sounds with a psychedelic tone. Revamping a classic sound for a new generation of listeners, Four Year Strong is no stranger to pushing the barriers of the genre by experimenting with new and old sounds and incorporating them into their easycore sound that has stood the test of time.
The release of “Whiplash” emphasizes how Four Year Strong stays true to playing exactly what they want to hear, and fans are here for it. This release is another exciting step in the band’s long and innovative career.
