Long Beach is about to get a whole lot hotter—Cali Vibes Festival returns in 2025 with a fresh summer date, a tighter two-day format, and a lineup that’s nothing short of legendary. Taking over Mariana Green Park on June 7 to June 8, the West Coast’s premiere reggae and hip-hop celebration is leveling up with a reimagined experience that leans into sunshine, surf culture, and nonstop good vibes.
This year marks a turning point for Cali Vibes. After years of calling February home, the festival moves to early June, making the most of SoCal’s prime weather. And with the shift comes a streamlined format: two days, no filler, and wall-to-wall talent from genre pioneers to next-gen firestarters.
Headliners Stick Figure, Rebelution, and Slightly Stoopid will anchor the weekend with their iconic reggae rock anthems. Stick Figure’s set will be their only Southern California appearance of the year—a rare chance for fans to catch the band live in an oceanfront setting. Meanwhile, Slightly Stoopid promises a special twist with a “Slightly Stoopid and Friends” set, hinting at major surprise guests and rare collaborations.
On the hip-hop side, Kid Cudi adds a layer of introspective psychedelia to the mix, while Cypress Hill will perform their iconic Black Sunday album in full, giving fans a front-row seat to classics like “Insane in the Brain” and “Hits from the Bong.” And then there’s Ludacris—a guaranteed party with a setlist full of radio-smashing hits and boundless energy.
At its core, Cali Vibes remains a love letter to reggae. The 2025 edition is stacked with genre heavyweights: Dirty Heads, Iration, J Boog, Steel Pulse, and Pepper bring their sun-drenched rhythms and California soul to the stage.
YG Marley, grandson of Bob Marley and son of Lauryn Hill, is poised to be the breakout performance of the weekend. Fresh off a buzzy Coachella debut, his blend of legacy and modernity makes him one of the most exciting voices in reggae today.
Another can’t-miss moment? Rome, formerly of Sublime with Rome, returns to his hometown for his first solo performance in Long Beach—a symbolic, emotional milestone for the local music community.
Also joining the bill is surfer-musician Landon McNamara, who’s riding a wave of acclaim following his win at the Eddie Aikau Invitational. His laid-back storytelling and Hawaiian reggae flavor add a new dimension to the already diverse lineup.
Cali Vibes 2025 is more than a festival—it’s a full sensory experience. Expect vibrant art installations, local food and drink vendors, and the return of The Boomyard, a dedicated stage spotlighting authentic Caribbean reggae sounds curated for true roots lovers.
Sustainability also remains front and center. This year $5 from every ticket sold will support the festival’s eco initiatives, and a limited-edition merch line will raise funds for wildfire relief efforts in California. First responders and military personnel can claim a complimentary merch bundle through GovX—an appreciation gesture baked right into the experience.
