Big news for Enter Shikari fans across the world as the band announces the release of Live at Wembley. This album is the thirteenth bootleg in their “Bootleg Series” and is featured with a full show film, both of which are to be released on July 11th via SO Recordings / Ambush Reality.
Live at Wembley captures the raw moments of these UK native’s largest headlining show to date of their 2024 UK celebratory tour. Their 2023 album, A Kiss for the Whole World, was the band’s first UK #1 hit and a massive accomplishment for these artists.
You can feel the excitement and passion this band emanates as they get to experience a milestone on home turf. “Our Wembley show last year was one of my favourite in Shikari’s existence thus far. I’m so glad we captured it and can now relive that special evening. We put a lot of time, energy, and money into the production, and gave our supporters the show they deserved. Despite some technical issues (like losing a couple of cameras’ footage completely!) we hope that the resulting film reflects what an incredible night it was. The swooping drone footage gives people a perspective you don’t often see, and we think our old friend Oleg Rooz on the edit really elevates it above ‘just another live video.’ A Dave Wilkie has excelled himself with the audio. He’s captured the excitement and energy in that arena, which isn’t easy in such a huge space. He was doing the sound for us when we used to play the Milton Keynes Pitz back in the day, and has recorded and mixed a few of our Bootleg Series live albums over the years, so it was great to have him onboard again.” –Rou Reynolds, Lead Vocalist and Producer of Enter Shikari
Showcasing a twenty song setlist, the show features songs of old and new, varying across the band’s seven studio albums that fans know and love. No show is complete without special guest appearances, fans can expect to see support from Fever 333, Jason Aalon Butler and Sam Ryder.
European fans are in luck as the brits finish out the year at various European festivals with the exception of the USA’s infamous return of Vans Warped Tour. The band makes it a point to bring the music to countries less frequently visited, including their first headline shows in Spain and Portugal since 2016, before ending the year with a special show at Paris, France’s legendary Batalcan.
