Pertinence & Yung Gravy bring the heat to Boulder Theatre

Boulder Theater was an absolute party in the best way possible when Pertinence and Yung Gravy took over on an unassuming Sunday night. The crowd was already buzzing before the lights even dropped, and from the moment Pertinence hit the stage, that energy didn’t let up for a second.

Pertinence came out swinging. His set was sharp, high octane, and he covered new tracks like “Summertime Stupid” while still performing the viral tracks that made him blow up, like “Drop Top Beater” and “Ups/Downs.” He commanded the stage like a seasoned vet, but performed with the hunger of an artist who knows they are just getting started. Every track landed. The crowd was locked in, hanging on every bar and bouncing to every beat.

Then, Yung Gravy stepped in and blew the roof off the place. His performance was equal parts comedy and chaos, with his signature smooth talking one moment, jumping into full blown party mode the next. Boulder ate it up. Between “Betty (Get Money),” “Oops!,” and a few new drops, Gravy had the whole room wrapped around his finger. He was able to turn a crowded venue into an intimate candlelit dinner, a touching family moment where he factored his girlfriend who couldn’t make it that night, and a full on college party. Gravy is a lot of things ,but no one can ever say he isn’t a world class showman.

Together, they turned the night into something more than just a Sunday night outing, it was a party and a celebration of energy, connection, and pure fun. Both performers know exactly how to work a crowd, and Boulder showed up ready to match them every step of the way.
