Return to Dust is amping up the volume with a new acoustic release

Return to Dust

A grungy melody that perfectly encapsulates the turbulent, emotional endeavor of change, Return to Dust‘s “Bored” has completely transformed into a new acoustic version of the song. “Bored (Unplugged)” feels like cruising after dark — windows down, emotions high — and we’re all here for this raw, unpolished rendition. The song premiered just a little over a week ago, and fans are already letting it be known how excited they are about this release — demanding additional unplugged versions of songs.

The band shared some words about their new release: “We see a growing desire from our listeners for real, unpolished art,” they explained. “Fans love seeing us perform the songs minimally in record stores and have been banging down our door for an official acoustic version. Because of the fans’ reaction, we are peeling back the curtain and releasing a version of the song as it was written, acoustic guitar and vocals.

Bored has always been a tender song about change, both the exciting and depressing parts, and we hope the acoustic version gives fans a new listening perspective.

Return to Dust formed in 2022, and to say that they’ve been climbing ever since would definitely be an understatement. With Matty Bielawski on vocals, Graham Stanush on bass, Sebastian Gonzalez on guitar, and London Hudson on drums, these guys are indomitable. Over the last couple of years, the band has garnered serious recognition from supporting big names on tour, such as Chevelle, Seether, Three Days Grace, and Breaking Benjamin. They’re continuing this trend by joining Yungblud on his “IDOLS” tour this summer — no breaks in sight.

I saw Return to Dust live last year, and they were beyond words. Their performance was stellar — the energy from the stage before me radiated devotion to their craft. I knew they had captivated the entire audience the moment they took the stage. I urge you to catch Return to Dust on tour this May with Yungblud (Shows May 1 – May 13). Tickets are going to be extremely limited, so act fast — this band is worth it.
