Stephen Dawes releases new single “Reputation”

On February 13, indie-pop singer-songwriter Stephen Dawes released his new single “Reputation.” It follows “Irregular” and “Symptoms,” released in 2025. With the new track, which he produced entirely by himself, he aims to highlight the tension between desire and consequences. After two rather up-tempo pieces, he now leans more into vulnerability and explores the complexity and duality of a connection. Reflecting on the writing and producing process, Stephen stated that “‘Reputation’ began as a piano ballad that I’d keep to myself. Producing it alone helped it feel honest and intimate enough to release. I hope it tells a story people can see themselves in and brings a sense of comfort to those who need it most.”
