After a 20-year hiatus, Hellfest, no association with the French festival, is back under its original name. This event is all about mixing newer, currently popular bands with other fan favorites from its past lineups, much like Warped Tour. Hellfest is the ultimate experience for those who enjoy the many subgenres that fall under the hardcore and metal umbrellas.
This all-ages, three-day festival runs from Friday, July 3, through Sunday, July 5, 2026, at The Dome at Adventure Crossing in Jackson Township, New Jersey. There are multiple ticket options offered, starting at $214.90. With over 60 bands, this is one of the better valued festivals available to the music community this year.
After their long-awaited Instagram announcement, it is easy to see, with over 700 responses to Hellfest’s stacked lineup, that the music community is ready to dance in the hot Summer sun, screaming lyrics with like-minded individuals. Malevolence’s own Alex Taylor (@alexmlev) is quoted as saying it is the “sickest line up I’ve ever seen tbh.”
I fully agree with Alex about the lineup. Once I saw it, I quickly checked my calendar to ensure I was free that weekend. Seeing Snuffed on Sight, holder, Killing Me Softly, Gates to Hell, and speechlessatgunpoint sealed the deal for me. These few bands alone are a perfect example of the broad spectrum of artists that will be attending this year.
The anticipation of additional band announcements to come only adds to the overall hype for this festival. We know the flyer currently on their site shows five bands mysteriously blurred, as well as Suicide Silence recently announced as the third headliner. Time will only tell the bands and brands that will be added to this diverse ecosystem that is Hellfest.
