On April 1, 2026, Nashville country artist Ashley Cooke released the official music video for her new song “xs,” which is visually powerful. The beach in the video represents holding onto and letting go of memories. While the beach is meant to be beautiful and warm, mixing it with fire symbolizes anger and the burning pain of past relationships. Alternatively, the video can be interpreted metaphorically: fire and water, as opposites, represent the conflict and chaos often present in relationships.
