Tommas Arnby, the manager of rising British star YUNGBLUD, has just been named and recognized as “Manager of the Year” at the MUSEXPO & A&R Worldwide Awards Gala 2026.

Indeed, 2025 has been an incredible year for YUNGBLUD and his team. Formerly a musician, Tommas is the founder of Locomotion (Music, Entertainment, and Recordings) and the Co-Founder & CEO of Special Projects. They made a strong impact, with three GRAMMY Award nominations as well as sold-out tours across Europe and the United States.

Tommas Arnby knows the music industry very well. He speaks about the U.K. music industry by saying: “The UK music industry should be more about believing the impossible is possible. Great artists need to be empowered to evolve over time rather than being judged by commercial results immediately.”

This is a very powerful message because in today’s world, a lot happens through networks or money, and it’s important to be well-supported. And above all, to have people who believe in you.

By retracing YUNGBLUD’s journey, it’s clear why. He himself admitted in interviews that he was initially only known in the Netherlands. But he never gave up, and neither did his team, and just look at where he is today.
