Haiden Deegan clinches title as Ken Roczen wins again in St. Louis

Progressive Insurance Cycle Gear Suzuki's Ken Roczen has moved within five points of the championship lead following back-to-back victories.

Round 12 of the Monster Energy Supercross Championship in St. Louis delivered more than just another stop on the calendar. It brought a title clinch, a tightening championship race, and one of the toughest tracks riders have faced all season.

Held inside The Dome at America’s Center, the annual Love Moto Stop Cancer race added extra weight to the night, with riders competing on bikes and gear designed in collaboration with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital patients.

Haiden Deegan came into St. Louis with a clear opportunity and didn’t leave much room for doubt. Starting outside the lead group, he quickly worked his way forward before taking control of the race and pulling away from the field.

Deegan finished with a commanding win, securing his second consecutive Western Divisional 250SMX Championship and adding to an already stacked résumé. It’s another statement in what has become one of the most dominant 250 careers in recent memory.

In the 450SMX Class, Ken Roczen carried his momentum from the previous round and delivered another win, this time with authority. After working his way to the front early, Roczen controlled the pace and steadily extended his lead over the rest of the field.

He crossed the line more than 13 seconds ahead of Justin Cooper, who matched his career best finish in second. Hunter Lawrence completed the podium, bouncing back into form and rejoining the championship conversation.

The result significantly tightened the standings. With Eli Tomac finishing sixth, the points race has compressed heading into the final rounds, setting up a far more open fight than it looked just weeks ago.

Round 13 heads to Nashville next, with both championships still very much in motion.
