TOMORA makes a special appearance in San Francisco after Coachella weekend

TOMORA came to San Francisco after debuting their music in the United States at Coachella over the weekend. The group is made up of two incredibly unique talents: AURORA and one-half of The Chemical Brothers, Tom Rowlands. Norwegian native AURORA is best known for her unreal vocals and distinct sound in pop music, which can be heard in songs like “Runaway,” which has amassed over 1.2 billion streams on Spotify. On the other half of TOMORA is Tom Rowlands, who has pioneered a sound in British electronic music, making The Chemical Brothers three-time GRAMMY Award winners for Best Electronic/Dance album.

TOMORA’s performance brought out so much energy from the crowd through their acts and incredible sounds. Their entrance onto the stage was accompanied by audio implying they were arriving on a spaceship, creating a motif that they were not from this planet. AURORA came out with megaphones, performing their single, “RING THE ALARM.” A big screen at the back of the stage showed visuals created by visual architect Adam Smith. Performing alongside AURORA was Amalie Holt Kleive, who is another Norwegian singer and songwriter. Closing out the performance, TOMORA previewed songs off their debut album COME CLOSER, including “IN A MINUTE.”
