Yellowcard has released a new version of “Bedroom Posters” featuring Blippi, reworking the track into something that sits somewhere between pop-punk nostalgia and children’s entertainment.
This new version keeps the energy of the original intact but shifts the perspective entirely. Lyrics that once leaned into frustration are flipped into something lighter and more playful, trading tension for a more family-friendly tone without losing the core structure of the song.
It’s an unusual collaboration on paper, but not completely out of place. This marks the second release between the two, following their earlier track “Go Go Go,” and continues what’s become one of the more unexpected crossovers of the year.
Instead of rewriting the song from scratch, the band handed off the instrumental and allowed Blippi’s team to reshape the lyrics. The result feels like a reinterpretation rather than a remix, with new themes built around imagination, movement, and the kind of imagery that connects more directly with younger audiences.

There’s still a clear throughline for longtime fans, though. The structure, pacing, and melodic hooks remain intact, giving the track enough familiarity to bridge both audiences without feeling completely disconnected.
The release also lands just ahead of Yellowcard’s upcoming “Up Up Down Down Tour,” which kicks off May 6 and runs through mid-June. The tour features support from New Found Glory and Plain White T’s, hitting major cities across the U.S., including a stop in Denver at The Junkyard.
“Bedroom Posters” feat. Blippi might not be what longtime fans expected, but it expands the band’s reach in a way that feels intentional. It introduces a new audience without completely leaving the old one behind.
