Tenroc prepares for debut album with new single “call My name (YHWH)”

Rising singer, musician, and producer Tenroc is continuing the rollout of his debut album with the release of his newest single, “call My name (YHWH),” an emotive track that leans into themes of faith and devotion. The song follows earlier releases “playlist” and “mourning 2 dancing,” the latter of which features collaborators Tori Kelly and Jon Keith. With this latest single, Tenroc shifts into more spiritual territory, delivering a soaring, falsetto-driven performance.

From the start, the track’s production appears intentionally restrained, allowing Tenroc’s vocals and the song’s message to take center stage. Elements of gospel, ambient pop, and R&B can be heard within the track, blending together seamlessly to create that genre-bending sound for which Tenroc is coming to be known.

Tenroc’s debut album, God Is A Person, is set to be released on July 17 via Sony/Provident, and marks a significant milestone for the New York City native. A lifelong singer and musician, Tenroc learned to play the piano, drums, and guitar before the age of seven, and eventually moved into production during his teenage years. He has made his mark on the pop world by helping to craft massive hits with global superstars like Rihanna, Jonas Brothers, Julia Michaels, Renee Rapp, and Jon Bellion. Tenroc earned two GRAMMY nominations for his work on Jon Batiste’s 2023 album World Music Radio. Over the last five years, Tenroc’s work has amassed over 3.6 billion streams collectively.
