Ari Lennox Brings Her “Vacancy Tour” To San Francisco

Washington D.C. native Ari Lennox makes a stop in San Francisco after kicking off her “Vacancy Tour” with stops in Seattle and Oakland. Ari’s stage design had many unique props, including a desk on which she began her performance and flowers scattered throughout the stage. On the other side of the stage, some chairs and sofas resembled a warm living room. Ari’s stunning outfit was similar to the cheetah-print dress she wore on her album cover, with a couple of extra details as the only difference.

Ari Lennox came out around 9:10 p.m. and opened her performance with “Mobbin in DC, “” Vacancy,” and “Pretzel,” the first three songs off of her newest album, Vacancy. The first half of her setlist was similar to the order of Vacancy, continuing the performance with “Under The Moon” and “24 Seconds.” However, towards the second half of her setlist, she went back in time with songs off her old projects, including “BMO” and “New Apartment.” Towards the end of her performance, Ari finished the show performing old hits from her discography: “Shea Butter Baby” with J. Cole, and “Pressure.”

Opening acts who supported Ari Lennox were PHABO and Lekan. PHABO is a rising R&B artist with hits like “Step 2 Me” and “4K,” both songs amassing over 10 million streams on Spotify. Lekan was the second opening act for Ari’s show and is another rising R&B artist. Lekan recently released his album, For All The Right Reasons Vol. 1, displaying his incredible sound.
