Laufey released A Matter of Time: The Final Hour on April 10, 2026. It’s a deluxe edition of her album A Matter of Time, which originally came out in August and was a big success, reaching No. 4 on the Billboard 200 and becoming the No. 1 jazz album. This new edition includes four songs: “How I Get,” “Madwoman,” “I Wait, I Wait, I Wait,” and “I’ll Forget About You (In Time).” She’s also made a music video for “Madwoman,” and Warren Fu was the director. Hudson Williams from “Heated Rivalry,” Olympic figure skater Alysa Liu, Lola Tung from “The Summer I Turned Pretty,” and KATSEYE’s Megan Skiendiel appear in it.
Laufey is having a fantastic year! She received a second Grammy for A Matter of Time as Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album earlier in the year, and she’s going to be incredibly busy. She is at Coachella this month, and then a totally sold-out tour of Asia follows after, with dates in Tokyo, Seoul, Singapore, and Australia in the summer. If all that weren’t enough, her children’s book “Mei Mei The Bunny” will be available on April 21, and a live album from her Madison Square Garden show is being released for Record Store Day on April 18.
