Rock and Roll Hall of Fame legends, FOREIGNER, have just released “Feels Like The First Time,” the first single from their forthcoming album In the Eye of the Storm, out July 17 via Sun Records. The album serves as the official soundtrack to the band’s landmark 50th anniversary concert film, captured at Ellis Island and Brooklyn’s DUMBO house. Pre-save the single HERE.

April 17 also marks the opening night of the highly anticipated new musical, “Feels Like The First Time — The Foreigner Musical,” at the Little Theater on Long Island University’s Post campus, where it will run for 11 performances through April 26. Tickets are on sale now HERE.

The new recording of “Feels Like The First Time” celebrates five decades of Foreigner vocal excellence, featuring performances from three generations of the band’s legendary frontmen – original voice Lou Gramm, twenty-year veteran vocalist Kelly Hansen, and lead singer Luis Maldonado. The track captures the evolution of the band’s sound across 50 years, all as part of a year-long celebration of FOREIGNER’s 50th anniversary.

The Ellis Island concert forms the centerpiece of an upcoming feature film produced by Veritgo Live Productions, filmed in the shadow of the Statue of Liberty. The film is set to arrive in theaters worldwide in Summer 2026.

With over 80 million albums sold worldwide, FOREIGNER’s catalogue includes era-defining hits such as “Cold As Ice,” “Hot Blooded,” “Urgent,” “Waiting For A Girl Like You,” and the global No.1 classic “I Want To Know What Love Is.” “Feels Like The First Time” – one of the band’s earliest and most enduring anthems – now returns in a powerful new live recording captured during the historic anniversary performance.

Along with the release, the band will also launch special limited-edition 50th anniversary merchandise collections, celebrating fifty years of one of rock’s most iconic catalogues. Further details on the release, merchandise collection, and upcoming film can be found at:
