Stephen Sanchez is a modern crooner. With his retro style and irresistible moves, we couldn’t wait to see him back on stage. Plus, it was the opening night of the tour! He is exclusively previewing the first tracks from his upcoming album Love Love Love, which will be released on May 8.
The tour kicks off in Paris at the magnificent Salle Pleyel, known for its superb acoustics. The band Tors, hailing from England, will be the opening act. Tors is an indie-folk trio; they’re generous, very engaging, and above all, their music gets everyone moving. The crowd was already going wild — you could feel a sense of connection from the very first notes.

Next up is Stephen Sanchez. And what an entrance, ladies and gentlemen! Dressed in a suit and tie — the epitome of elegance — he bursts onto the stage full of energy and doesn’t stop moving. He shows us that he’s not just a singer; he’s a performer, a true showman.
The stage design is also really interesting — very colorful, with the new album’s logo in the background. A tour centered on love, built around an album he says took him a long time to create.

He starts with tracks from his debut album Angel Face, with songs like “Emotional Vacation” and “This Thing Called Love,” taking on a whole new dimension — perfectly suited for live performances and putting on a show. He then follows up with “Sweet Love” and “Chuck the Money,” which will appear on his upcoming album, making the French audience the first to hear these songs performed live.
He even tries his hand at French, and it suits him very well. Between dance routines and trumpet solos, we’re treated to a real show from start to finish. He wraps things up, of course, with classic hits like “Until I Found You,” before kicking the party into high gear one last time with “High.”
