Meghan Trainor has released her seventh studio album, Toy With Me, marking a new chapter in her evolving pop sound. The project arrives via Epic Records and comes with the official music video for her latest single “Shimmer.”
The track brings a bright, dance-driven energy, which is reflected in the music video directed by choreographer Charm La’Donna. Filmed in Simi Valley, the video matches the confident and playful tone of the new release.
With Toy With Me, Trainor leans into both personal and empowering themes, balancing vulnerability with the catchy pop songwriting she is known for. The album follows earlier singles “Get In Girl” and “Still Don’t Care,” which helped introduce the colorful world around this era.
Following her 2024 album Timeless, the new release continues Trainor’s run within pop music. She was also recently honored at the Billboard Women in Music Awards, marking a decade since her breakthrough with “All About That Bass.”
