The one thing that I’ve noticed over the years with Olivia Rodrigo is that anyone who has opened for her tours has had their career skyrocket a few months later. Take a look at some of her opening alumni: Chappell Roan, Remi Wolf, Gracie Abrams, and PinkPantheress, just to name a few. They are now some of pop’s leading female voices after being exposed to a bigger audience, like an Olivia Rodrigo tour. With the news that newcomer Grace Ives will be joining on for the opening slot of Olivia’s “you seem pretty sad, for a girl so in love” world tour, I can only imagine the same amount of success coming her way!
Coming off the high of their critically acclaimed third album Girlfriend, Ives already has quite a bit of material to work with and a fanbase that is already tuned in. I can only imagine how much more this will expand her career during arena dates she will be opening with for Rodrigo. As of right now, Ives is currently on their “Girlfriend Tour” starting back in mid-April, so if you can catch her on the road before 2027, you’re in for a treat to see a pop star before they get big.
