Is It? ..Nonpoint in review

Nonpoint

Nonpoint is finally back with their new single “Is It,” available everywhere May 8 on all major digital streaming platforms. Known for their relentless energy, high jumps, that same undeniable sound, and immaculate live performances, the band continuously pushes forward with every release, down to the music, theme of the tour, or even merch drop.

“Is It” marks the first release from Nonpoint’s upcoming full-length album – their first full-length since 2018 – The Last Word set for release later this year through self-made 361 Degrees Records. This track introduces the tone and direction of the new record while giving fans an early look into the themes the band has been building forward, and themes that have been shared throughout the bands ever so evolutionary legacy. Ahead of the release, the band premiered the song through a hand-drawn animated lyric video on Nonpoint’s YouTube channel, pairing the track with visuals that further expand on the atmosphere and message behind the music.

“In a world that constantly tries to put limits on creativity, The Last Word is our way of showing we’re still growing, still creating, and still finding new ways to express ourselves,” the band shares. Frontman Elias Soriano describes “Is It” as a reflection on personal conflict and self-doubt. “Is it” comes from questioning yourself after trying to do what you thought was right. It’s about wondering if you pushed too hard, got too involved, or unintentionally hurt people around you.”

Full DSP and soft radio rollout of “Is It” will follow on May 8, 2026.
