On May 8, 2026- Vana released the official music video for her newest single “In Your Name” via Sumerian Records that speaks on how love can make an individual feel like they are emotionally decaying when the love is the equal.

The music video is metaphorically beautiful. In the beginning of the video you see a deer running in the cemetery which represents beauty of life in an area where bodies are slowly decaying in the ground. It can symbolize hope that can correlate back to the meaning of the song because at times we sometimes believe that everything is ending when a relationship does not work out, but at the same time life is still shining bright in front of us. As the video progress; the individuals in the video start to move in a rhythm that’s beautiful yet filled with emotional instability. Dancing in the video can represent moving along with the memories and since the video has the individuals dancing near tombstones it can also showcase that even when something is at the end or already ended; there is still beauty in those memories.

“Falling in love is painful. Where there is equal love, there will inevitably be equal loss. Sometimes you fall in love even when it hurts you. Sometimes, loving someone you know is bad for you hurts less than grieving the loss of that love.

“In Your Name” demonstrates how far some would go in the name of love, no matter how toxic that love may be.”

Vana continues; “The ‘In Your Name’ music video lives in that space where love and grief become indistinguishable.  It explores the aftermath of love and when it decays. The video explores the anger and lingering tenderness that come with loss how we try to bury pain instead of facing it and how it inevitably resurfaces.’
