As June inches closer, the most renowned party in New York City creeps back into view, and you can already feel the air shifting in the city that never sleeps as Flushing Meadows Corona Park prepares for its return. The Governors Ball is just three weeks away, and the official food and beverage lineup has now been unveiled. If you’ve ever wandered the streets of Queens, you know firsthand the cultural melting pot that defines the borough’s cuisine, and The Governors Ball not only pays homage to that diversity; it fully immerses itself in it. In a city known for its delectable eats, The Governors Ball never cuts corners, and this year’s food and beverage lineup stretches that palette even further.
“Food and beverage has always been a cornerstone of Gov Ball, and this year’s lineup is our best one yet,” says Tom Russell, co-founder of The Governors Ball. “With exciting new additions and long-time festival favorites, our diverse menu is curated to delight every palette.”
Now entering its fourth year at the infamous park in Queens, The Governors Ball partners once again with Queens Night Market, hosted just blocks away from the grounds every Saturday from 4 p.m. to midnight. In this way, the festival does not just call Queens home for a weekend; it becomes an extension of the culture and diversity that pulses through the borough, uplifting the local economy and community through its annual curation with zip code-specific discounts and local vendors. Attendees can indulge in plates from Mao’s Bao, Eemas Cuisine, Twisted Potato, La Braza, Matyldas Polish Food, and more, with flavors ranging from Asian to Latin American to savory American comfort food all weekend long. And for those looking to avoid the festival rush, Queens Night Market will remain open Saturday as usual, transforming into the perfect pregame or afterparty refuge once the final set fades into the darkness of the night – just remember to bring cash!
Just beyond the Queens Night Market additions, attendees can find beloved New York staples such as Prince Street Pizza, Parm, Fan Fan Doughnuts, Tacombi, and Little Charli, topped off with ice cream from Van Leeuwen Ice Cream, freshly creamed in Brooklyn. And that’s only a sliver of what The Governors Ball has waiting across the park grounds. The food and beverage vendor list stretches across more than 50 diverse options, satisfying every craving, weaving through the festival crowds.
Big-name food and snack sponsors include Welch’s® Fusions™ for a sweet treat, f’real milkshakes to cool down with, fan-favorite ice-cold Slurpee® drinks, and Cabot Creamery’s free grilled cheese bites. For those 21 and over, Kona Big Wave returns with Taste the Aloha, while Corona keeps things tropical with their Corona Beach Club pop-up, turning part of the grounds into a sun-soaked escape tucked inside Queens. Festival staples such as PATRÓN Tequila, Hennessy, Malibu Rum, Jim Beam, and more will offer premium pours crafted to keep the atmosphere buzzing long after sunset. Embracing the party culture that has become synonymous with Gov Ball itself, BeatBox, NÜTRL Vodka Seltzer, and Cayman Jack return with easy-to-grab canned cocktails built for drifting between stages.
In a city so congested and constantly moving, music festivals are less frequent within the bustle of Manhattan and its neighbouring boroughs, which is exactly why The Governors Ball remains so vital to the culture and history of New York City. After 15 editions, the festival understands exactly what the city expects year after year, and each year the experience only becomes more memorable. Every summer, the experience grows louder, larger, and somehow even more essential. It’s the Coachella of New York City for a reason, drawing tens of thousands of attendees from across the Northeast and beyond into Queens for one sprawling weekend of music, movement, and lifelong reminisicing.
2026 boasts 60+ performing artists, including headliners Lorde, Stray Kids, A$AP Rocky, Baby Keem, Kali Uchis, JENNIE, and more. Tickets are on sale now and moving quickly, with prices increasing next Thursday. If you haven’t snagged your passes yet, be sure to secure them before the weekend slips past like another fleeting New York summer.
