Black Veil Brides have released “Revenger,” a new track featuring Machine Head’s Robb Flynn. The song appears on the band’s seventh studio album Vindicate, out now via Spinefarm.
Vocalist Andy Biersack said the song comes from an interest in the ethical dilemma around cheering for justice and exploring what happens when someone tries to seek the ultimate form of it. Because the lyrics were written from another person’s perspective, Biersack felt the track needed another voice, leading the band to bring in Flynn.
Biersack also pointed to Flynn’s long-standing support of Black Veil Brides, noting that Machine Head were among the early metal bands willing to defend them when others were dismissive. That history gives the collaboration more weight than a standard guest spot. It is not just a feature slapped onto the track like a streaming era sticker. It carries a sense of mutual respect between artists who have both built careers on intensity, theatricality, and refusing to disappear quietly.
The band also released a visualizer for “Revenger,” giving fans another look into the darker world surrounding Vindicate. The album has also been previewed through tracks including “Bleeders,” “Hallelujah,” “Certainty,” and “Vindicate,” each pointing toward a record that continues the band’s dramatic rock identity while pushing into a new era.
In support of the album, Black Veil Brides are continuing their first North American headline tour of 2026. The run includes stops in Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Detroit, Indianapolis, Minneapolis, Chicago, Toronto, Montreal, New York, Silver Spring, and Worcester, with support from From Ashes To New, TX2, and As December Falls.
