On May 15, 2026- Sabrina Sterling released an emotional ballad “Hold” that expresses when love is one sided and when they will do everything in their power to be that person even though they know it’s not going to work out. Mental clarity is the struggle the narrator is experiencing because when love blinds you; it’s impossible sometimes to fully let go. Sterlings soft and warm vocals are filled with sadness that lingers throughout the whole single. The listener can feel the slow burn the narrator is feeling because as the song progresses you can sense abandonment in a way which makes the person more naive due to being blinded. “Hold” is when a person becomes dependent on another person to be happy and it teaches the listener that love can become toxic.
