Taking Back Sunday has announced a Fall 2026 headline tour with special guests Thrice and Saves The Day. The month-long run kicks off September 16 in Nashville and includes stops in Brooklyn, Milwaukee, Salt Lake City, San Diego, Las Vegas, and more.
Colorado fans get one of the biggest nights of the tour on October 14, when Taking Back Sunday headlines Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison for a special Louder Now 20th anniversary performance. The Red Rocks show will be the only headline performance of the full album this year, which is a very efficient way to make every aging emo kid within driving distance suddenly check their PTO balance.
Frontman Adam Lazzara said the band has been planning and preparing for the tour for a while, working through material and arrangements as the live lineup takes shape. He also pointed to the Red Rocks show as a special night celebrating 20 years of Louder Now, adding that Thrice and Saves The Day were the right bands to bring along for the run.
The tour also brings a notable lineup addition for longtime fans. Taking Back Sunday has invited guitarist Fred Mascherino to join them throughout 2026, performing alongside guitarist John Nolan. For a band whose history is tied so closely to different eras, lineups, and the kind of songs people still yell in cars like it is legally required, that detail gives this tour extra weight.
Taking Back Sunday will also collaborate with Craft Recordings on an anniversary edition of Louder Now, with more information expected soon. Originally released in 2006, the album became one of the band’s defining records and helped carry their sound into bigger rooms without losing the emotional volatility that made fans connect in the first place.
Before the fall tour, Taking Back Sunday will stay busy on the road with Bayside this spring, along with appearances at Dia Libre Festival, Slam Dunk North and South, Vans Warped Tour, Louder Than Life, and Shaky Knees.
