X Games Sacramento announces Kaskade, Mustard, and Subtronics as Music Headliners

TESSLA (Tess & LA)

X Games has announced Kaskade, Mustard, and Subtronics as the official music headliners for MoonPay X Games Sacramento 2026, taking place June 26 through 28 at Cal Expo in Sacramento, California.

The event will kick off the summer season for the new MoonPay X Games League, bringing together elite action sports competition, nightly concerts, and a festival-scale X Fest fan village. More than 100 of the world’s top Skateboard, BMX, and Moto X athletes are set to compete across 18 medal events, because apparently, X Games looked at a normal weekend and decided it needed more airborne humans and bass drops.

Kaskade will headline Friday night, while Mustard and Subtronics will co-headline Saturday night. Their addition pushes the Sacramento debut beyond a traditional action sports event, reinforcing X Games’ long-running connection to music, fashion, youth culture, and live festival energy.

X Games CEO Jeremy Bloom called music a core part of X Games culture, saying the addition of Kaskade, Mustard, and Subtronics is a major moment for the Sacramento event. Bloom noted that the artists bring global appeal and energy that match both the intensity of the athletes and the scale of the MoonPay X Games League launch.

Kaskade brings decades of electronic music influence to the Friday night slot. The Grammy-nominated DJ and producer has played major festival stages, sold-out arenas, Coachella, the Super Bowl, and previously headlined X Games Ventura in 2024. His return gives Sacramento a proven X Games music headliner with a direct connection to skate culture.

Mustard will make his X Games debut as one of Saturday night’s co-headliners. The five-time Grammy-winning producer, DJ, and artist has helped shape modern West Coast hip-hop through work with Kendrick Lamar, Rihanna, Travis Scott, Migos, Ty Dolla $ign, and more. His production has become part of the sound of a generation, which is a much cleaner way of saying half the planet has probably moved to something he touched without realizing it.

Subtronics will also make his X Games debut in Sacramento, bringing his high-impact electronic production and massive live show energy to the Saturday night lineup. The Philadelphia-born artist has spoken about growing up around skate culture and attending X Games as a child, making this performance a full-circle moment in an already major year that includes a Coachella debut and large-scale festival momentum.

MoonPay X Games Sacramento 2026 will also feature a private community kick-off party with Nyjah Huston DJing, adding another crossover moment between action sports and music. The weekend’s competition schedule includes marquee Skateboard, BMX, and Moto X events across Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

The Sacramento event is the debut stop for the MoonPay X Games League summer season, part of a broader shift toward a year-round, team-based, co-ed league format for action sports. The new structure is designed to create longer season storylines, deeper athlete-fan engagement, and more earning opportunities for athletes beyond traditional prize purses.
