The world of Conan Gray, back on the Adidas Arena show

Conan Gray was back not for one, but two exceptional nights at the Adidas Arena in Paris! We were there for night two, and here’s all about it!

After an impressive show at the Zénith in 2024, he returned with an even bigger universe and, most importantly, an absolutely insane stage production, especially considering this might have been one of the smallest venues on the tour! What’s incredible is how he tells a story from the very beginning to the very end of the show, while still keeping a genuine closeness with his fans.

Let’s talk about the staging for a second. Even the opening is unforgettable and incredibly original! Conan Gray arrives on stage riding a bicycle, dressed in a white sailor outfit, before stopping to place a postcard into a mailbox displaying the date and city of each show every night.

He then scans the crowd before launching into the opening song, “My World” – the perfect way to bring fans and the audience straight into his universe. He’s full of energy, constantly smiling, jumping everywhere, and most importantly, he made sure everyone in the arena could see him.

His stage is designed like a “wishbone,” a nod to his latest album. This means that, in addition to the main stage, there are two extended runways on each side, where he constantly moves throughout the show. Every song feels like entering a different world: he changes outfits, appears on a boat, and even performs a surprise acoustic moment around a “campfire.”

The show feels varied and authentic. Several times during the concert, he comes close to the barricade to interact with fans, and he even asks one fan to choose the next song by pulling the “wishbone,” creating a completely unique moment! That night, the choice was between “Sunset Tower” and “The Exit.” In the end, “The Exit” won.

Since the concert is divided into acts, every moment pulls you deeper into the story. You keep waiting to see what comes next, and it’s impossible not to recognize what an incredible performer he is. His vocals are absolutely insane as well. Of course, he also performed iconic songs such as “Maniac” and “Heather,” introducing the latter with this legendary line: “This song is about a certain girl. Heather, I’m sorry. But also, I’m not sorry, because this song is a banger!” A genuinely hilarious moment.

To sum it up, this concert was absolutely insane. It’s a true visual spectacle. Conan’s discography is incredibly impressive, especially considering how young he is. His audience is just as invested, both in the songs and in the outfits. We spotted countless little sailor hats and looks inspired by Conan’s latest album.

Despite such huge production and staging, he still remains incredibly close to his fans, and he’s honestly such an endearing person. An artist you absolutely need to see live!
