Five Finger Death Punch (FFDP) fans are highly anticipating the band’s 10th album. While still in the recording studio, the record was teased by the release of the first single from that album, titled “Eye of the Storm.” Even pre-release snippets of the song have gone viral and show a move to some heavier, more power-hungry music coming from this new album. With the new album underway, the band has also recently announced their 20th anniversary world tour, kicking off in North America in July with special guests Cody Jinks and Eva Under Fire, before heading to Europe in 2027 for the second half of the tour, traveling with Lamb of God and Bleed From Within.
Zoltan Bathory, founder and guitarist of Five Finger Death Punch, released a statement about the new song and forthcoming album: “The new music has been turning out heavier than anything we’ve done in years, with a cinematic undertone running beneath it. We had three years to write this record and really live with it. We started with nearly 30 songs and carved it down to 14 or 15; we even considered a double album at one point. This is our 10th studio album and our 20th anniversary as a band, we knew we had to hit it hard. What excites me most is that I’m hearing the early era again, that grit, that bite, that aggression, while simultaneously exploring completely new territories. I wrote the music for the entire first album, and most of the second, so that energy isn’t nostalgia for me, it’s where I come from. Those are my roots. It feels like coming home at full speed, while my brother Ivan is bringing some incredible lyrics and melodies, and his voice sounds absolutely huge on this record. I am really looking forward to the next decade.”
But FFDP is not stopping there. They have also announced that in 2026, the band will continue their tradition of supporting Team USA and the upcoming Olympic and Paralympic Games being held in Los Angeles in 2028. As part of the tour’s commitment to championing America’s next generation of athletes, a portion of the ticket sales from the “2026 North American Tour” will benefit high-performance programs for U.S. Olympic and Paralympic athletes as they prepare for international competition. The band has traditionally supported many organizations, including U.S. Military Veterans and first responders throughout the country. Giving back to the communities, their fans, and supporters as much as they can, which has really helped bring the band to the forefront in the cities they travel to.
So, between their 2026 release of their 10th album, a world tour taking them into 2027, and supporting communities and Olympic and Paralympic Games coming up in 2028 in Los Angeles, there’s no better time to join in all this celebration! Look up tickets for the “2026 20th Anniversary Tour” and get ready for the new album release, as we all expect to hear more new song releases in the near future.
