After more than 25 years away from solo releases, Linda Perry has returned with Let It Die Here, a deeply personal 17-track album released through Kill Rock Stars and 670 Records. Created alongside the filming of her documentary of the same name, the project explores childhood trauma, grief, healing, and personal transformation through raw storytelling and stripped-down production. The release has already earned strong early praise from outlets including MOJO, SPIN, and Classic Rock Magazine, while Perry also unveiled a new music video for the album’s focus track, “Feathers In A Storm.” Fans can stream the album via Linda Perry – Let It Die Here and watch the official “Feathers In A Storm” video on YouTube.

Perry described the album as an emotional reflection on her upbringing and complicated relationship with her mother, explaining that the songs became a way to process years of pain and ultimately find freedom. Tracks including “Balboa Park,” “Is That All You Got?,” “Beautiful,” “Feathers In A Storm”, and “Albatross” touch on themes of confrontation, loss, healing, and acceptance. The visually driven “Feathers In A Storm” video, directed by Simon Chan, features multiple stylized transformations that mirror the themes of change explored throughout the album.
