MR. 305 in the 704

Arriving at the Truliant Amphitheater in Charlotte, North Carolina, on Wednesday afternoon, you could see the bald caps from a mile away. That could only mean one thing: Mr. Worldwide aka Mr. 305 aka Pitbull is BACK!! No one tailgates quite like Pitbull fans do. All of his hits were on repeat while walking through the parking lot to get to the venue. Twerking to “Time Of Our Lives,” dancing on truck beds to “Hotel Room Service,” and downing beers to “Timber.” Fans had on suits and ties – 70% had on bald caps with Pitbull’s signature shades. If you weren’t wearing merch, you were buying it! Whether that was his new jerseys, a Mr. Worldwide outfit kit, or a souvenir cup, Pitbull’s merch team killed it.

Heading to the stage to shoot the last three songs of LIL JON’s set, you could feel the radiant energy from the crowd. Word for word, song for song, Charlotte was having the time of their lives. Getting to hear some of LIL JON’s hits like “Shots,” “Turn Down For What,” and “Snap Yo Fingers” was unreal. His consistent party energy had the crowd knocking back shots and all hands in the air!

The anticipation began to skyrocket before Mr. Worldwide even hit the stage. Fans were dancing up and down the aisles of the venue, keeping the party going! Then Charlotte got to witness the greatest opening song to a show ever, “Don’t Stop The Party (feat. TJR).” As soon as he hit the stage, the venue was electrified! Every fan was jumping up and down, screaming every lyric. I loved how, in between almost every song, Pitbull would take a moment to talk to fans and make a deeper connection with them. This is something that gets underappreciated in the music industry, and it’s truly an amazing thing to see! Mr. 305 had a group of extremely talented dancers on stage with him as well, The Most Bad Ones. Pitbull puts on a life-changing performance. This is a tour you certainly do not want to miss!
