Grab a partner – Cowboys Music Festival returns to Calgary this July

Grab your cowboy boots and frilled hats – Cowboys Music Festival is returning for its 30th edition at Cowboys Park in downtown Calgary, Canada, this July 2-12 for another legendary, genre-bending chapter. As it does each year, the premier event boasts 11 days of live music, unforgettable moments, nightlife spectacles, and an incomparable festival culture that has cemented it as a staple of the region. Tickets are still available for all 11 days while supplies last, with VIP suite add-ons accessible for those looking to elevate their experience beneath the Calgary skyline.

Regarded as one of Canada’s Stampede Week essentials, Cowboys Music Festival first rode onto the scene as a country music celebration, honoring the genre’s roots and influence on the local community and beyond. Over time, however, it expanded into something far larger than a single sound, weaving together pop, hip-hop, EDM, rock, and, of course, country beneath one banner, creating a musical crossroads that welcomes audiences from every corner of the genre terrain. Beyond the stacked lineup, Cowboys Music Festival continues to curate immersive experiences that stretch beyond the stage, including this year’s Stampede Showdown Charity Poker Tournament and Drag Me To The Cowboys, a playful drag showcase spearheaded by none other than RuPaul’s Drag Race icon RuPaul. RSVPs and tickets for the additional 2026 experiences can be found on the festival’s official website.

As anticipated, the lineup is every bit as massive as the experience itself, featuring headline performances from Tucker Wetmore, Charles Wesley Godwin, Avery Anna, Jason Aldean, Dustin Lynch, Sean Paul, Steve Aoki, Flo Rida, 5 Seconds of Summer, Jason Derulo, Dominic Fike, Sam Barber, a two-night set from John Summit, Macklemore, The Chainsmokers, Ella Langley, BigXthaPlug, Jon Pardi, Max McNown, and an undeniably showstopping finale from Yungblud. And that only grazes the surface – more announcements are still waiting in the wings, ready to reveal themselves in the weeks ahead.

Attendees can soak up the Stampede atmosphere from sunup to long after the final encore fades into the night. In addition to the musical lineup, Cowboys Honkytonk returns in 2026, offering the perfect soundtrack to two-step and spin beneath the lights before and after headlining performances. Charging stations – just remember to bring your own cable! – and seated sections will be available throughout the grounds, alongside Cowboys’ extensive Food Market, ensuring festivalgoers can savor every corner of the experience from start to finish. Additional partner activations will keep attendees humming all weekend long, with more details from official sponsors arriving soon.

The festival kicks off in just a month’s time, but don’t hesitate to secure your place at Calgary’s beloved Stampede-week playground. While tickets still remain available, select dates are already 75% sold out, and passes are unlikely to linger much longer once additional announcements begin to roll in. So click your heels, grab a partner, and join us at Cowboys Park this July as another unforgettable chapter flips open.
