The Failsafe shares somber take on Bad Omens’ “The Grey”

The Failsafe has released their cover of Bad Omens’ track The Grey. Following the momentum of their recent single “Happy To Be Here,” which landed on SiriusXM Test Drive, The Failsafe continues to push forward with a sound that blends emotional intensity and modern rock power.

Their version of “The Grey” takes a bold approach, bringing back the original’s dramatic, cinematic weight and reshaping it into something more raw, vulnerable, and atmospheric, while still keeping a strong emotional punch. The result is a cover that feels both familiar and completely reimagined at the same time.

The Failsafe is an active rock band from Minneapolis, Minnesota, known for their heavy electronic rock sound mixed with pop-influenced vocals. Inspired by bands like Bring Me The Horizon, Bad Omens, and Wage War, they aim to create music that helps listeners push through difficult moments in life.

Their music has been shaped through collaborations with producers such as Andrew Baylis, Cameron Mizell, and Sahaj Ticotin, and has earned over 1 million streams across releases like the single “Dying To Exist,” the EP “Toxic Hearts,” and their 2019 album Erasing Color. Their recent track “Wolves” introduces a cinematic and emotional style, exploring themes like addiction, depression, and personal struggle, paired with a dark, story-driven music video.

Having toured independently and shared stages with acts such as Pierce The Veil, Secrets, Upon A Burning Body, and Real Friends, The Failsafe continues to grow as they move into 2026.

The cover is available now on all streaming platforms.
