Nashville-based singer/songwriter Willow Avalon just put out her newest single, “Hypothetically Speaking,” featuring country singer Kaitlin Butts. A fun, twangy, hypothetical song about the first hypothetical girlfriend you’d call if you were hypothetically burying a (your) man’s body. The song is a snip it from Willow’s upcoming album Pink Pocket Pistol, coming out June 26. The album will also include singles Willow released earlier this year, “Easy on the Eyes” and “Cardinal Sin.”
Willow grew up playing piano and guitar, being raised by her mother and her grandmother in a small southern town – a reflection of her feminine, playful, and powerful lyricism. Music became a passion and a way of self-expression. Willow continues her craft, working with artists like Waylon Wyatt and Jason Isbell.
Last month, Willow played her first Stagecoach, solidifying her spot on stage alongside other country icons like Lainey Wilson, Ella Langley, and Charles Wesley Goodwin. She also recently announced a stacked tour across the U.S., hitting cities like New York, Los Angeles, Boston, and Washington DC. She will also support legends Brooks & Dunn and play a set at CMA Fest.
