Bonnaroo 2026 redemption year

It’s less than two weeks until Bonnaroo 2026. This year, Bonnarooivans everywhere are hoping for redemption after last year’s rainout on the first day. This year’s lineup is definitely setting up to be the redemption year. Also, there are a few changes happening around the farm this year as well.

First, let’s talk about some of the changes happening this year. One of the biggest updates is that the festival is scaling down to a three-day event, with opening day still on Thursday, used more as a slow reintroduction to the farm. Thursday’s lineup features a variety of acts, staying true to Bonnaroo, with Skrillex headlining Thursday night in Centeroo. Other performers on that opening day include Spiritual Camp, Vince Staples, and Four Tet. Another noticeable change on the farm is that “Where in the Woods” is moving into Centeroo and will no longer be in its previous location out in Outeroo. It will still be primarily an EDM stage, as it has been in the past, just in a new location.

Now, before I dive into the music side of Bonnaroo, I want to take a moment to highlight some of the amazing side quests that go beyond the music. One of my favorite things about Bonnaroo is its ability to offer incredible experiences around the farm, like The Academy at Planetroo, where all weekend, they host classes such as Gardening 101 with the National Park Conservation Association, Mind Spa: Full Service Resets (breathwork and meditation), and Building with Purpose with Habitat for Humanity.

Another fun activity happening on the farm is a disc golf experience with Paige Pierce. Lastly, I have to mention this must-do side quest: getting the chance to sign the Bonnaroo Yearbook. Caleb Arias created the Bonnaroo Yearbook three years ago as a way to connect with people while at the festival, and it has blossomed into a beautiful project. This year, he’s coming to Bonnaroo as a content creator. While working on the yearbook, he also creates an ISpy book with trinkets given to him throughout the weekend. I was lucky enough to sign last year‘s yearbook, and I hope to do so again this year. So definitely keep an eye out for Caleb and check out his socials @bonnarooyearbook for where you can catch him around the farm.

Finally, let’s dive into the music! This year‘s format, with Thursday being a welcome-back party, features only four acts performing, with Skrillex headlining the opening night. Friday through Sunday are packed as usual. The lineup includes familiar artists from last year who are aiming for redemption and finally getting their chance to perform on the Bonnaroo stage, such as Jessie Murph, Aly & AJ, Role Model, Mt. Joy, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, Flipturn, and Modest Mouse. This year’s super jam artist is Kesha! Her theme is: ESOTERÍCA: THE ALCHEMY OF POP! Some of the artists joining her set are Del Water Gap, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, Grouplove, and Blondshell, among others. I’m very excited to not only see Kesha perform but also to see her super jam! Super jams are one of my favorite parts of Bonnaroo. Other artists I’m really looking forward to on Friday are Yungblud, Rachel Chinouriri, and Jessie Murph. Saturday, I’m excited to see Alabama Shakes, Teddy Swims, and Passion Pit. To finish off the weekend, of course, there’s Kesha, Japanese Breakfast, and Aly & AJ.

Now it wouldn’t be a Bonnaroo if I didn’t bring my film camera along. I’m really excited to see what I can create on the farm. I can’t wait to go back!

See you on the Farm!
