She’s the girl everyone’s talking about, I’m talkin’ multi-platinum, chart-topping, and award-winning country star, Ella Langley. Miss Langley dominated the 61st ACM Awards, taking home all seven awards she was nominated for. For Ella, this career-changing, life-altering recognition is well deserved following the success of her Sophomore Album, Dandelion, along with her hit single “Choosin’ Texas,” which I simply cannot stop singing in the car.
Ella’s wins included Female Artist of the Year, Artist-Songwriter of the Year, and Single of the Year for her record “Choosin’ Texas,” which she earned both as an artist and producer. She also took home Song of the Year for the single as both artist and songwriter, along with Music Event of the Year for “Don’t Mind If I Do” with Riley Green. With all seven wins, Ella holds the incredibly impressive title of most wins in a year by a single artist.
Accepting Female Artist of the Year, Ella named a few impactful peers in her life, delivering an emotional speech with depth, gratitude, and wisdom. “I would not be standing up here without the encouragement of so many women,” she said.
Currently in the midst of her sold-out headline arena run, “The Dandelion Tour,” Ella was a star during the evening, delivering an impactful and raw stripped-back performance of “Be Her” during the live event.
We hope that Ella continues to have an amazing year, and we look forward to hearing more of her music.
