Lucy Spraggan brought her intimate tour to Leicester for a memorable closing night at the Y Theatre. The tour featured a series of performances in smaller venues across the country, creating a more personal and connected experience between audience and artist.
Born in England, singer/songwriter Lucy Spragan caught the public eye after appearing on The X Factor in 2012 (U.K.). Following her appearance on the show, she went on to become the first show contestant to achieve a Top 40 Single before the live shows even aired.

Supporting Spraggan on the night were Molly Warburton, an indie singer-songwriter from Lancaster who joined Lucy’s previous tour, and SØLØW CHØIR. Both support acts delivered incredible acoustic performances, showcasing their raw vocal talent and musicianship, and they played completely stripped-back sets.
Warburton performed tracks including “Twenty Two,” “Better Me,” and her latest single, “Shout Louder.” SØLØW CHØIR showcased songs such as “SLØW DØWN” and “THE CLIMB.” Together, they perfectly set the tone for the evening and were welcomed by a respectful Leicester audience who were clearly in attendance to appreciate raw live music.

The setlist featured fan favourites such as “Lucky Stars,” “Fight For It,” “Tea and Toast,” and “Jeremy Kyle” – a song that Spraggan jokingly revealed she would never release on streaming platforms despite this being a popular request from fans. Another example of Spraggan’s ability to connect with her audience, she gave fans the choice between two songs, “Bodies” and “Lighthouse.” The clear winner for the evening was “Lighthouse,” which Lucy performed beautifully.
